About Samantha

I started my apprenticeship in 1996 and became an ECS Gold Card Approved Electrician in 2000. Throughout my training, I faced the usual challenges of being a woman on a building site but looking back I don't think much fazed me. I have enjoyed a varied and challenging career from being an estimator to operations manager to a sole trader as well as managing apprenticeships. In 2008 I took a position teaching self-funding adults for a private training provider. This is where my passion for passing on my knowledge and experiences started to blossom. In the past 15 years I have enjoyed being a sparky alongside assessing, IQA and teaching. In 2019 I completed my DET Level 5 and moved back into private training from FE.

At the end of 2022 I made the decision to hand in my notice (as the Apprenticeship Operations Manager) without a new position to go to as I believe it is time for a new chapter in my life so I have registered Lawler ElectroTech Training Ltd! I am now offering my services as a contractor so I can now share my skills, knowledge, and experience with many different types of training providers. It is my mission to raise the standard of delivery across the sector
